Mail-In Repair Service
Prepaid Shipping — Repair — Certified Return
Service Summary
Medology's mail-in repair service makes professional instrument repair accessible regardless of your facility's location. A prepaid, insured shipping label is emailed within minutes of submitting a service request. Upon receipt, instruments receive same-day intake and diagnosis, followed by prompt repair and post-repair calibration.
Why It Matters
Mail-in repair provides access to manufacturer-trained technicians for clinics in areas with no local repair resources.
Prepaid insured shipping eliminates the risk and cost of shipping damage — instruments are fully covered in transit both ways.
Transparent quote-before-repair policy ensures no surprise charges — facilities approve costs before work begins.
Post-repair calibration is included, returning the instrument in a fully compliant, certified state.

Standards & Regulations
Mail-in service produces identical compliance documentation to on-site or walk-in service — the delivery method does not affect certificate validity.
All mail-in repairs include mandatory post-repair calibration against ANSI S3.6-2018 tolerances before return shipment.
Intake documentation, serial number verification, and repair tracking maintain a complete chain of custody throughout mail-in service.
Calibration certificates issued for mail-in service carry the same ISO 17025 traceability as laboratory walk-in calibrations.
Return shipments include a physical repair report, post-repair calibration certificate, and warranty card. Digital copies are simultaneously emailed and stored in the client portal for audit access.
